After the 13900K delid project, I sort of just started forgetting about fussing over thermal paste application (or really what type of paste to use. Personally, 10c delta is 100% fine and normal in my experience and I'm not sure a whole lot can be done about a stock chip since the solder is pretty much not going to change its internal contact with the underside of the IHS no matter how much repasting one does.
